Volunteers:

The value of the many diverse services volunteers provide in our community is inestimable, although it is obvious that we would be unable to cope without them. There is no way that governments could fund even a small fraction of the services provided by volunteers and our community would be forced to accept much less support than we currently enjoy as a result of the generosity of volunteers.

Volunteers strengthen communities by fostering a spirit of togetherness and compassion. While their value may be hard to quantify, we know they are the heart of our success.

The Greater Victoria Eldercare Foundation is very fortunate to have many dedicated and talented volunteers to assist us with our work. We are truly grateful to each and every one of them for their commitment and for sharing their time and expertise to enhance the lives of hundreds of elderly residents in our community.
